Privacy policy

MLC respects your privacy. This page describes what data is collected, why, and the rights you hold over it — in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

Data controller

The data controller is the association « Marketing, Leçon, Certification » (MLC), a French 1901-law non-profit — 10 chemin de l'ancienne école, 33480 Moulis-en-Médoc. Contact: hello@mlcassociation.fr.

Data collected & purposes

When you fill in a form, we collect the data you enter: name, email address and, depending on the form, phone number and message. This data is used solely to: reply to your contact request, register your interest in membership, or keep you informed about the Bordeaux event. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6.1.a of the GDPR), given by ticking the consent box before sending.

Cookies & tracking

This site sets no cookies. No tracking tool, no traffic statistics, no third-party scripts. The site makes no requests to any external domain. No consent banner is therefore required.

Language preference

Your language choice (FR/EN) is stored in your browser's localStorage — not in a cookie, never sent to a server.

Recipients & transfers

Your data is stored in our internal CRM, reachable only on our private network, and handled by the MLC team. It is never sold, traded or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. No data is transferred outside the European Union. The infrastructure host is OVHcloud (Roubaix, France).

Retention period

Your data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then archived for at most 3 years after your last interaction, after which it is deleted.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data. You may exercise these rights at any time by emailing hello@mlcassociation.fr. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr/en/plaintes).
